Feng Zhengyu, Deputy Secretary of JLU Party Committee inspected School of Law regarding Three-Full Education reform (refers to all staff-involved, all-dimensional and end-to-end education) on 5, November.

First of all, Zhou Chunguo, Secretary of CPC Committee at School of Law reported on the development of Three-Full Education in School of Law from three aspects: all staff-involved with focus on teaching faculty, end-to-end education on the basis of activities, and all-dimensional education with emphasis on cultural cultivation. He also analyzed existing problems and expressed consideration for future work. In the discussion session, Dean He Zhipeng stated that Three-Full Education is the central work of Law School. School of Law will continue to be student-orientated and make more achievements in the context of a New Era.

Based on personal work experience, representatives from School of Law expressed their opinions and made suggestions on ideological and political curriculums, faculty stimulation, and cultivation of leaders. Responsible staff from relevant departments responded to those opinions and suggestions positively.

After listening carefully to others’ opinions, Feng Zhengyu made a conclusion. Firstly, he approved the comprehensive reform of Three-Full Education at School of Law. He also pointed out that School of Law has inherited the gene of red culture and fine tradition in legal education. He encouraged School of Law to take the lead in the comprehensive reform of Three-Full Education, and three “adherences” should be ensured: adherence to political guidance in the process of talent cultivation; adherence to featured activities to reinforce educational platforms; and adherence to institutional construction to solidify educational outcomes.

At last, he proposed “three combinations” for School of Law: combination between the first class and the second class through understanding the connotation of ideological and political curriculum; combination between counselors and supervisors, specifically, supervisors should shoulder the primary responsibility in cultivating postgraduate students and educational responsibilities should be clarified; and combination between efficient implementation and creating a cultural environment.
